Thanks Flycutter...Did you realize that the Aluminum molds are solid enough to last a lifetime??? I have been tempted to buy brass...but cant justify it in my mind. Especially when I can dump sprues into the pot with the aluminum 6 banger.

If thats your preference...its available in "no lube groove". In my rookie...non scientific opinion. I have found non lube grooved boolits more finicky to load forgiveness. I have deduced that during the sizing process..the displaced lead needs somewhere to go. During the firing process a lube groove allows a bullet to "bump up" more consistently. For general shooting, I found no difference. If you want them all to go in the same spot every time you pull the trigger. Lube grooved boolits, not too hard on the alloy and push hard enough to get no soot on the brass and no flash out the barrel.

    Sir Smoke,

It brings me great joy to to bring you off the wagon. Originally this one had 50+ sign ups. Im not sure why this one is coming along so slow this time around.

Be patient and I think it will make it sometime early winter.

Mr. Bluejay, would you please enter my request for brass on the sigh up list. I'm #4. Much obliged sir.

About the aluminum molds, there is nothing wrong with them because I have an assortment of them but the brass mold are a work of art. They hold heat better in my opinion, but in the end they both cast great bullets.
