I will be interested to see if the HP makes any real difference in expansion and/or killing power. That’s a mighty skinny pin.

Believe it or not from the first pull I had 100% keepers. One heat cycle, two cleanings and a little butane lighter smoke. Got the mold up to 350° or so and started pouring. This mold is a bit taller than any I’ve had so my mold rest was a little too tall and will need adjusted.
Anyway now off to load them up.
Oh mine drop 227gr in HP.

He sent a link, I selected it, but I just don’t recall there being an option for solid vs HP. Either all pins are coming with all molds, he automagically sent me a link to the right thing and I didn’t notice, or there was an option I missed. I should have just checked my invoice, didn’t thinkmof that first.
Heat cycled mine 3 times. Last night cast about 50 to 60 just to patina mold.
This morning cast 120 in 30 minutes. About 6 rejects.
98% pure lead 2% HSB ( for tin and tiny bit of copper)
Pot at 715. Mold preheated on hot plate
No lube groove, Deep HP. Copper GC, pc'ed weighs 219-220
This is the easist mold to cast i have
The 3 cavity brass is not that heavy. Much nicer than my 4 cacity brass weight wise
It it taller than any of my other molds
I am very happy with this mold. Many many thanks MP for sticking this one out

Okay, for anyone that thought they didn't receive their email check your spam folder. The email was sent out Jan 23. The sender is named Miha Prevec. G Mail auto filtered this one into spam which is why I never saw it.
Also I was charged for shipping and wasn't included. Anyone else charged for shipping? Also the discount given was only for 10% and not 15%.
Just confused by the wording "including shipping"...you swap it around to "shipping included" and implies free shipping.
I was a little surprised also when it cost $156 for a 3 cavity mold and handles
Ill keep my guns money and freedom you keep the CHANGE!!!
Had a chance to do a little playing this afternoon. Made a couple hundred and they dropped at 225.5 very consistently.

Loaded up 10 rds for the first load test of the MP 311 235HP
This the exact same load i use for the NOE 311 247 HP for sunsonic.
Thought that would be a great base to start from
2.225 OAL. CCI 400 primers. Crimped lightly
7 grs of Lil Gun gets 1025 - 1050 depending on temp with the NOE 311 247
5 shots at 50 yds produced a 1.25 inch group. All clean rd holes
No time to setup the chrono so no fps but would assume its close
100 % function, no misfeeds in a Noveski AR. Tryed lancer, Magpul 300, and std metal AR mags all fed just fine.
So later this week i will probaby drop down to 6.6 and work up it i get the groups to tighten up
I shoot into a 55 gallon plastic drum of rubber conveyer belt chips
Was able to recover 1 rd before hands got too cold to dig futher
Will post a pic of it, a recovered NOE 311 247and a MP 311 235 i used as a setup projectile ad soon as i get to the shop and the sun gets up some

Correct. I *think* what happened is that at one time a different shipping method was included in the price, with the option of DHL at a cost. At some point during the nearly two years this was active, the decision was made to ship everything DHL. The initial post probably should have been changed, but wasn't.
As for the discount, yes it was advertised as 15%, but delivered at 10%. No idea why. Miha?
I have a no lube groove gas check mold. The bullets are hourglass shaped. They measure.295 between the drive end and the nose that measures .301 after powder coat. They were cast from some of the captains range scrap. It’s a light coat of Smokes translucent copper if that matters.
The bullets will Not chamber. Its disappointing to say the least.
I have not planned on “nose sizing” or leaving the front end bare. Is this a hybrid bore rider design? I’m just confused on the shape, and concerned that I’ve spent a hundred bucks on a mold that does not drop useable projectiles.
Mark
It is hourglass shaped.
.301 diam is diam by drawing.
Did you test it with uncoated bullet??
