Please understand that Miha couldn't afford to just make a few in number sets of the long pins. So, if you want the longer pins, in addition to the regular pins, the only way he can justify making the longer pins at all is to make a LOT of them, and increase the number of molds from 20 to 30.
So, if you truly want the longer pins, in addition to the regular pins that came with this mold the last time it was made, you need to commit. The price would be the same, for all those extra pins. We just need to get a few more orders.

We are already at 23, and I see I have a couple more to add. So, we are just about already there. Any additional orders will help speed this along.

So, I would ask those who are specifically inquiring about the longer pins: " Do you really want these?" I'm hoping that you all say, YES. I'd also like to get the extra pins.

So, yes, if we get to 30, everyone will get, in addition to the normal pins, a set of the "John Ross" pins.

    Replies?

It may not be all that much longer a wait. We're already close to the needed numbers. Your (2) actually helps the cause. So, please be patient, and see how this plays out.

    Will do.

I'd still like to see something come together on 500 & 600 in time.

I would certainly wait till we hit 30 to get the longer pins.

Thanks Mihec for rolling with the change.

Duke I am IN for another mold. So that makes it 2 molds with all the fixin's (pins) including the JR pins. I talked with a good shooting buddy and he thought it was a no brainer for a custom mold with quality workmanship and for that price, delivered from Europe, he said he would be crazy not to. Looks like there will be stereo 500's going off at my local range! If for some reason he bails, I will still take the 2 for myself, pay, and figger it out later. Thanks!

I would like to have the longer pins as well. A little longer wait would be worth it I think.

Please note that all listings will indicate "all pins"

That implies that EVERYONE will also get all of the pins, including the longer ones.

You don't have to ask for the longer pins, you'll get them anyway.

It all depends on when we get enough orders to fill the group buy, say today we hit the 30 mark. In the past few GB's I've been involve in we had our molds within a month, usually less. Once you get the invoice the molds are ready to ship, and that usually takes 1-2 weeks to get through customs.

MiHec has been better recently about closing out group buys and getting them machined and shipped in a timely fashion. A couple years ago he was a bit backlogged and it took longer. Used to be that you signed up on a list, saved your money and forgot about it until you got an email one day. Sounds like we have close to the needed number now, so it shouldn't be terrible long. Best advice you can get on these is to set the money aside, and wait it out. These molds are well worth the time and money. They're borderline between pretty-looking tools and works of art.

The replies below are pretty much spot on! Sometimes it takes a while to fill all the production quantities. In this instance, the mold speaks for itself.

It's only money, and for a change I have a little left over from Christmas....
Also, are handles included, and if not what type handle do I need for these?

Handles are usually not included with MiHec molds. They can be purchased from him on his website, but most people use Lee mold handles for 6 cavity molds.

As I do not have any 6 cavity handles, guess I will need to get that as well.

    I think that's 29.

Who's going to be the one to cap this off?

This has been a very fast buy overall- showing how desirable this mold is if nothing else- but it's crazy how fast we went from 20 to 30!

C'mon fellas, step right up! If you haven't held a Miha mold in your hands then you don't know what you are missing. The machining is absolutely perfect. The cost for these are incredibly low considering the quality of the mold, the time it takes to produce a small batch of them, and the shipping is INCLUDED from Europe! Running these molds are super smooth once you get a rhythm going and you wont ever have to worry about your cavities rusting because they are machined from solid brass. If you are thinking of owning a 500 S&W at some point, now is the time to grab one of these.
