Has anyone tried the formula of 50% petroleum jelly and 50% parafin wax in brewing up homemade lube for pistol shooting?
How has it worked for you i.e. accuracy, leading, smoke etc.?

No, but I just mixed a batch of 1 pound of yellow beeswax abd 13 ounces of white lithium grease with 1 1/2 tablespoons of Johnson's paste wax (carnuba). I haven't tried it yet but...it looks like it'll flow without a heater and it's not sticky. Has a pale yellow color.
