    At one time or another, I have loaded for the following cartridges: .45-70, .348 Winchester, .338 Win Mag, .338-06, .338-06 AI, .33 Mauser(.338x57), 8mm Mauser, .32-20, 7.65x53, .30-06, .308 Win., .30-30, 7mm Remington Mag, .280 Remington, 7mm-08 Rem, 6.5x55, .25-20, .243 Win, .223 Rem, .22 Hornet, .45 Colt, .45 ACP, .38-40, .357 Mag/.38 Special. I think the only one I didn’t load a cast bullet in was the .243 Winchester.

Also, round ball loads for .520(54), .490(50), and .395(40) muzzleloaders.

My very first reloading experience was for the 6.5x54 MS, but it wasn’t my rifle or loading setup. I think I was 14 then.

Once you start this hobby "to save money" it will cost you thousands.

I just bought a set of .44-40 dies...and I don't even shoot that caliber! (But I might some day, or reform .460 S&W Mag brass into .45 Colt shotshells. Who knows?!

Once bought a stripper clip for a SMLE, wouldn't you know it, a SMLE that fit the clip followed me home a couple of years later.

Even more surprising is the fact I could still find the clip when I got the rifle.

HA! I am left handed and once bought a left handed holster because they had one on the rack. They are hard to find on the rack. Well, I didn't own a pistol to fit that nice holster............but I do now! That was in the early 70's. Still have both!

Sounds like somebody who would hang around a gun club in a town that was named Maybee, like they couldn't come up with a real name.....

    I load the following calibers:

    20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 375, 40, 41, 416, 44, 452, 458, 470/80, 50

I have loaded the following cartridges:
    .204 Ruger 22 Hornet 221 Fireball
    .222 Remington 220 Swift 22-250
    .223 .243 .257 Roberts
    260 Remington 6.5x54 6.5x55
    6.5 Carcano 6.5x53R 7x57 Mauser
    275 Rigby 280 Ross 30 carbine 30-06
    30 Remington 30-30 30-40 Krag 300 Savage
    300 H&H 375 H&H
    .308 Win .303 British 7.62x39
    7.62x54r 32 win spec 8x60s
    8x57 Mauser 8x50r 8x56r
318 Westley Richards .338 Win Mag 35 Rem
    350 Rigby Magnum 38-55 .375 Flanged 2 1/2" Nitro Express
    9.3x74R 400/350 Nitro Express 400/360 Purdey 416 Rigby
    450/400 NE 450 Nitro Express 45/70
    450 Bushmaster 470 Nitro Express 50/70

    Pistol:
    45 acp 38 special .357 mag
    380/200 9 Luger 9mm Makarov
    40 S&W 44 special 44 mag
    45 Colt .45 Schofield 7.62 Nagant
    41 Magnum 480 Ruger

    Shotgun:
    12, 16, 20, 28, 410

Only ones I don't anticipate reloading again are the 260 Remington, 7.62x54r(but looking for brass--makes great 8x50r or short 8x56R), 45 Schofield, 40 S&W, and the 338 Win Mag.

Favorite 3? The Hornet, first centerfire I got serious about reloading, next the 470 Nitro, just because everything about it's almost cartoonish in scale in comparison to the Hornet. I've taken a loaded round to the club, sat it on the table with a 2lr next to it just for the reactions.

More than a few thought the 470 was a gag cartridge.

Third most favorite is pretty much all the rest, except the 416 Rigby, I think that has given me more grief that the rest combined with chambering/feeding issues. Still don't have it completely sorted out yet. There is a couple of jacketed bullets that are going to Accurate tomorrow to see if they can be duplicated in lead to fix the feeding problem. Nothing a custom boolit mold won't solve.

Above was my list from June of this year, since then I've added the 458 Win Mag. Simple to do, even with the brass drought. Through help on here, I've got the forming 458 from "other" stuff pretty well down. Kind of impressive to take 7mm Mag to 458 in one fire forming shot.

It's too much fun not to, fondled a Danish rolling block this afternoon. 8x58R, never loaded that one.

If it's still at the LGS on Thursday, it may have to follow me home.

Need to do a little more research before I commit.

I cast for 45 colt, 38 spl, 9mm, 40 s&w in that order. I shoot a lot of 45 colt from SAA and lever guns mostly shooting steel. If I didn't reload and cast my own, could never afford to shoot like I do.
Also, a quick thanks to all for a great forum. Great wisdom and experience here. I have even been going back and reading old posts.

It has been four years since my first response on this thread.

In the last three years, I have only loaded .38, 9mm, .223, .270 and .308. And I do not see that changing much. I loaded the .270’s this year to help a buddy...I sold my .270 years ago.

I expect with the prices and shortages, running this poll again would be interesting. Not what you can reload...but what calibers you have reloaded in the last year.

Last count was 40 different cartridges as well as multiples of about 8 due to multiple rifles in those particular cartridges.

Lost count a long time ago. Been reloading since 62 and shot in the first cast international championship IHMSA match in 1982. Quite a few cartridges over 40+ years of long distance competition plus pins, plates and IPSC.

Seeing how many members reload for more than 10+ calibers makes me think I need to find some new friends (and guns )!
