Looking for load data for 7.62x54r and a 200 grain bullet

Hello all! I am looking for load data for a 7.62x54r and a 200 grain bullet sized to .314 and powder coated. I would prefer IMR4064 or Unique powder loads as I have a bunch of both on hand! Thanks! I have the Lyman manual but it only has 220/190 loads and not with the powders I would prefer.

I just shot some yesterday that were loaded with 31.0 gr of Reloader 7.
They were grouping great at 100 yards until the LER scope mount came loose.
Mine were ESPC'ed with Smokes Carolina Blue and sized to .314.
I am sure you can back down 4064 and use a dacron filler.
But I have not tried it, so I defer to persons with more experience using the slower powders in cast loads.
Maybe Larry Gibson will chime in on this.
My Lyman third edition shows for the 208 gr CAST boolit that you can use 10.0 to 13.0 of Unique.
That will take you just a tad over 1400 FPS.
That should work just fine for your boolit
My rifles shoot this weight of bullet in the MN's best between 1800 to 2000 FPS out past 50 yards

I myself have found pretty good success with 7 to 13 grains of Red Dot. But then me and Red Dot are buddy's. We just get along.

Start with 25 gr 4064 and use a dacron filler. Work up to 34 gr in 1 gr increments. Somewhere in there accuracy will go south. If you've a chronograph you'll find the best accuracy between 1800 and 2000 fps.

This sounds like a perfect job for H4895 and the 60% rule, but I also know about wanting to "dance with what brung ya" and avoid adding an extra powder for (initially) just one application. You might also inquire of Hodgdon/IMR/Winchester/Whatever concerning a reduced load using 4064 in this scenario. Perhaps there's a "75% rule" which can give you what you'd like.

From a 1971 Lyman manual, I found:
10.0 - 13.0/ Unique /213gr. #311290 w/gas check yields 1261 - 1483 f/s.
17.0 - 22.0/ 2400 / Same projectile yields 1413 - 1754 f/s.
27.0 - 30.0/IMR-4227/ Same projectile yields 1882 - 2028 f/s.
Best accuracy was with the max IMR-4227 load, but was not quantified.
All the standard safety warnings (start ~10% under max & work up, look both ways before crossing, and wear clean underwear just in case, etc., etc.,)

Yes, 4895 is the best powder for this bullet. I've won the Arizona state CBA military rifle match the last 2 years with the 314299 over 4895 with a dacron filler in the M39 7.62x54R. Gives the '03 shooters the fits.......

what wt bullet and which primer? I have a bunch of red dot I need to start using again!
