I have a supply of Blue Dot and a 375 Whelen and cast in that range you use, I would be interested to know what your load is as it just may convince me to find a use for this Blue Dot. Regards Stephen

I’m using Blue dot for reduced .223 rem. Loads.
I’m loading at about 1500 fps with 62 gr. Bullet.

Sounds like Seafire's loads, there's a guy on one of these forums that has 223(and a bunch of other calibers) Blue Dot loads.

Lucked into a pound of it today. Dead guy stuff, carton full of cans of powder, some unopened, some partial for $50. ~15 pounds of powder. Plus two full bricks of #34 for $40.

    Gotta start shooting more.

Do a "DuckDuckGo" (I don't do the Google thing) for: seafire blue dot loads

Should be able to find what you are looking for.
