Heck you can flux with any dried carbon based life form. No! Your mother in law is not dried, so not her. You can flux with leaves, wood chips (cedar rodent bedding is popular) sawdust, pinecones, paper, so why not hemp stalks?

Other than the aforementioned potential for unpleasant dialog with a Texas Ranger it should work. Let us know if it is high quality... flux.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

Actually my mother in law has been dead at least 35 year. So I am pretty sure she is dry by now.
As for the quality, his parents grew it, while he was growing up. Then he got sum degree in botany. Then a master's in bioengineering. He has a lot of knowledge,
You could say he's a "Pot Head" His stuff is "Highly" recommend.

It should work but I really don't see the point. The possible legal problems would concern me. Also, I think the rosin contained in pine sawdust makes it work better than some other woods. And its cheap!

It should have a good carbon content.

I don't know about legal problems in WVa, but you'd just be normal. When we were living there we were walking in Fairmont, where we lived, during the summer. Smelled pot strongly. Guy had trimmed the weeds on his ditch bank and was burning it. The stuff grows wild there.

I would be afraid the aroma of the fluxing might attract some of them old hippies...nothing like having a bunch of old dudes standing around trying to score a lid.

Lol! In all seriousness I've started using pot stems to stir my lead pot which also fluxes while I stir. Works great, smells great, (and yes it does smell the same as the other uses for the plant) and in my state, perfectly legal .

It's really funny how the culture of pot has changed in my life in my area. I grew up in Oregon and most everyone I knew was using weed but against the law. Well, the law never made much difference to me as far as what plants I could and could not own. But now it's so different. We have marijuana markets that you just go in and purchase whatever you like. Take it home, and throw it in your lead melt! Who would've thought?!

I always observed the store clerk's face when they ask "would you like a bag?" And I tell them "No thanks, I got one last night." Some seem to "get it" a little too well.

I think I'd be content to stick with the pine sawdust, it ain't like Michigan don't have pine trees..

Awww man! This is flipping me out. I can just see walking into one of our local dispensaries and asking to buy a matchbox. If the kid don't get it or never heard of it? Fine then, can I get a brick?
