Just got a Lee 309 - 113 - F Want to have my 30/30 Marlin for the grand kids to plink and don't want to use too much lead. Also have a Thompson Contender in 30/30 and with the light bullets it won't kick as much.

Lyman 356637 HP. If the drawing I found is right, this will work in both my 9mm and .357SIG.

I have a .378, 250 grain flat nose plain base two cavity mold on the way, got the shipping notice. Not crazy about the mold itself, but it is what I think I want for powder coating in the Win 375 at near 2,000 fps.
I loaded two rounds using a 270 grain SP bullet with 1680 and the new Star Line brass yesterday, just to check feed, seating, etc. So far so good.
Does not mean it will shoot, only that it loads and feeds as loaded, I will work the accuracy problem when we get to that point.

NOE 260-105-FN for my .250 Savage bolt actions. This is a 4 cavity mould. I seasoned it per the instructions and began casting the next day. Boolits dumped very easily. There were some very slight imperfections in looks, but when samples of each drop were measured, they all weighed within .3g and were right at 105g with gas check and lube. The gas check fit was great . I'm a happy camper. Now I'll have to see if I can duplicate the .828" 5 shot group that I obtained with some boolits of this design that were gifted to me.

Picked up two gently used 44 caliber, and a brand new one from NOE. A RCBS 44-200 FN, 44-250 KT
and a new mold 360-158-WFN-T4, just arrived from NOE to use on my master caster.

Miha has the 200g RCBS .358" back in stock, got the email this morning. Got it to feed my 350L "not an assault weapon". Shipping is up to $26.50 and I was looking hard at the H&G 68 too but I don't have a 45 .... yet.

I got the 8 cavity aluminum gas check version, it's going to be raining boolits.

Gotta love old school Lyman pin moulds. Received the 12ga slug mould today. Any idea what my weight should be with this one? I’ll be using soft lead.

This one; https://www.mp-molds.com/product/358...mold-gc-or-pb/ Ordered it Sunday and it came yesterday. Been dropping very nice shallow cup points with 20/1. Right at .358" as cast like promised. Going to try some with HS 6 and see how fast i can push them. 1100 fps would be fine.

Wanted an LFN in a tumble lube format. Tom didn't really have one in the catalog. He does now!

Well it was 7 days shipping from Slovenia because it hung out at the aerodrome all weekend then Vienna, Paris, London then here only to be thrown into a 400 degree oven. It's the 360-200 GC RCBS Clone in an 8 cavity aluminum mold. The Gas Checks arrived today too. Gotta go get the pot started.

I received an Accurate 31-105L It came in two weeks instead of the advertised eight and looks great. It will be used in a S&W .32-20.

I admit a certain lust for the Lyman "Flying Ashtray" hollowpoint molds... Wish they weren't single cavity, tho' I did sit down and make a couple hundred from my 45 variant the other day...

I ordered two MP molds yesterday: 359-125 hp and 402-160 hp. Both are 2-Cavity molds and are my upgrades from my Lee molds.

MP 359-135 8 cavity aluminum mold. Ordered it Saturday, got it Friday afternoon.

So, I just finished my first test casting session. Using an alloy of 9 lbs of range lead, 1 lb of linotype and 5 ounces of 40/60 solder (92/2/2 or thereabouts), bullets are dropping at an average of 132 grains and .360 diameter. Early indicators are very positive.
