Bought this from the consignment at the LGS. Nobel powder made in Canada. Just after the Metric system came in. Sold at a Mcleod Hardware store that hasn't been in business for over 40 years. for $14.95 Can dollars. It's still looks and smells good. Going use to load up some 233 rems. Attachment 292649

Picked this up cheap and almost full last week. I was running low on Red Dot so it works out perfectly. Welcome to my collection

Heck, I've used powder sold in a paper bag. Wish I still had some.

I added a few more tins to the collection. I love looking up at them from the bench.

When I think "vintage", plastic is not what I envision. Bigox, you have some neat ones in that mix! I bought a black metal, looked like a small barrel, 700X maybe, it was cool, gave it to a friend.
Take a kid to the range, you'll both be glad you did.

Thanks, they range from the very early 1900's through modern day. I've kept an eye out for that black mini keg of 700x or 800x but haven't found one yet also looking for a square tin of Hercules green dot (not wanting to pay some crazy ebay price plus $15 to ship a $5-10 can)

Some new additions. These have caps that are made of brass. Anyone know when those caps were used?

A buddy of mine is a handy-man, he was cleaning out a barn and found a box of old reloading stuff and odd lot shot-shells. With much appreciation, that box found its way to my shop. Couple of bricks of primers and a large powder tin. Lots of odds and ends shotshells. I've never seen S&W / Alcan primers before.

I picked up a MEC Sizemaster and an almost full can of Hercules Green Dot. Unfortunately it wasn't the square tin of Hercules Green Dot that I've been looking for but at least the powder is good. So no complaints here.

I just opened a fresh…vintage…lol…eight pound cardboard tube of green dot. Used it to load up some 10mm. I put a little pile of it on an aluminum can and lit it. Big flash…still good!

Well I finally found a square tin of Hercules Green Dot. I'm a happy camper now. I also picked up a can of Hercules Laflin & Rand FFFG Orange Extra Sporting black powder dated 12 1939 and a can of Kings Semi smokeless rifle and shotgun powder.

I've run out of room on the shelf. I'll have to figure something out.

Swap meet this morning, milk crate fulla stuff. I've seen lots of the Dupont, but that Hodgdon is one that I've not seen before.
