    Cool Neighbor brings over treasure

My neighbor across the street is currently in the process of preparing for a move. He mentioned that he had a box of reloading stuff that his father in law had given him after he stopped reloading. I'm not sure why he gave it to his son in law, because he doesn't reload but hey, it worked in my favor. He mentioned the box of 'reloading stuff' a few times but it was buried in a closet and he wasn't sure when he would get to it. Well he came over this afternoon and this is what he brought!

Almost all of the powder except the Unique, Norma, & one can of IMR4350 is unopened. All of the primers except the two red Federal boxes are full. I've seen similar posts about someone bringing over powder or whatnot and always thought they were so lucky! I'm a happy man! I was just about to go buy some RL22 & IMR 4350.

A good neighbor indeed. Those kind of goodies always come in handy. When I reach the end of my reloading days, their will be a question of what to do with my 50+yrs. collection of reloading equip., supplies, mold blocks, and firearms as my children have no interest in such things. This does not cover a lathe, vert. mill, shaper, precision surface grinder, along with tooling, and gunsmith tooling. I am sure some of my friends that load will have a smile on their face.

You had a good day. Go buy that man & his wife a steak dinner. Her dad set this karma in motion! Best, Thomas.

    SCORE!!!

You should do a little something for him even though he may decline.

    That is a treasure trove.

I might be wrong, but the empty cans may well have some value after you shoot up the contents.

Better yet - a couple of good bottles of Scotch!
I had a friend that stopped shooting Cowboy and BPCR. When he called me over to his house and told me to take it all ... I gave him a $500 gift certificate to Cabelas. The gun cart alone cost $325

Nice score! My favorite price too!

Was working in a small town once, checked the Pennysaver paper ads. Saw an ad for a .44 magnum for sale, called the feller. Gun had sold, but he said he had some reloading stuff the buyer didn't want. Hurried right over, bought an unbelievable amount of ammo, brass, bullets, primers, powders, dies and other misc. stuff for $100. And then I had to go buy a .44 rifle.......
