Here are a couple interesting ones. This one was an idea that I thought would be cool, sort of a Lone Ranger inspiration. 5 1/2" blade of CPM 154, Black paper Micarta and bone handles. Nice and light, a trail or butcher knife, not a chopper.
This one was 3/16" thick CPM 154. Meant to be a thin little blade for EDC or for a pack. The sheath lets you swivel it out of the way easily, and is unobtrusive anyway. Really meaty thickness, but a nice thin edge that is easy to sharpen and cuts great. I was really wanting to try out some contrasting stitching, so it got the white thread.
This one started out as a neck knife, but seemed like it needed something more. I got ahold of some Jade green Micarta from old electrical service, and built handles for it. The blade is skeletonized underneath, so the light shows through the handles in a neat pattern of circles. CPM154 blade steel, about a 3.5" blade.
The sheath can be carried R or L side on a belt, right side up or upside down, or the belt loop can be taken off and you can use cord to carry around your neck.
