    Howdy !

If not already set on use of a .378" bolt face, then cases like the .25, .30; or .32" cal Remington series might be of use ?

From what I've read thus far, it sounds like the .351Win SL case is out.

If you are shooting and worried about costs dump the AR and go with a single shot. It is not the bullets but the frequency that you shoot them that is costing you. If you want to be involved in a shooting sport that shoots 500 or so rds a week do as most of us did with Bullseye or PPC and cast your own. You will go broke or spend a ton otherwise. Talk to trap shooters and see how many use commercial loads.

    Howdy !

A pic of my recent 50yd 5-shot group tests in Marlin M-336 XLR .35 Rem. Reduced load of H4198 under Cutting Edge 150gr ER " Raptor " brass solid ( poly tipped ).

Writing is blurry, but denotes upper Lt cold bore shot, and lower second fowler shot after doing a scope adjust downward. Then ....5-shots " for record ".

Will next move to 100yd group run-off between the best 2 charges of H4198. Neck tension already decided. Will try variety of primers, last.

    .358's can shoot !
