    Powder Dispenser

I am looking into getting a Hornady Lock-N-Load Auto Charge Powder Scale and Dispenser because my old scale has died after years of use. How good is this dispenser. Found it for 185.00

I've never used one but I bet you will love it. I bought my Lyman because it was on sale and it saves a lot of time. I put it on auto and it throws a charge every time I set the pan down. Every once and a wile it will through a charge a couple tents heavy I dump it back in and let it throw another.

Mine works just fine. The Hornady unit will beep at you when it measures a heavy or light load. It doesn't weigh heavy or light very often. When that happens, you just dump the powder back in the hopper and press enter.

Last years Christmas gift from my wife. Works great for working up new loads. The directions are fairly easy to understand and came with a DVD. Will dispense some powders better than others and let's you know if the charge is over weight. Takes a few minutes to empty and clear when done. Hope this helps.

    I love mine.
Go to Hornady FAQs to learn to adjust the trickle start time and trickle speed.
When adjusted properly it will automatically throw charges as fast as I can seat bullets....dale
