327 Fed cases fit in my 32 S&W cylinder. They stop just flush of the cylinder mouth. I acquired some 32 HBWC, and tried them with light loads of smokeless powder. Accuracy wise, the results were disappointing. No leading though. Maybe a different type of WC might perform better. I never pursued this idea any further, as the 32 S&W cases with the heel type bullets performed quite well, in my Forehand Arms revolver.

I think this idea has some merit, as it places the bullet at the barrel's forcing cone, eliminating the issue of the bored through cylinder. Also the deep seated WC, takes up a lot of space in the 327 case, reducing the internal volume to a more manageable level, for light powder charges. Just a thought.
