    Sourdough biscuits

    Anyone have a recipe for sourdough biscuits? I've seen them for sourdough bread, pancakes, etc., but not biscuits.

    What I'm ultimately looking for is something similar to what Gus cooked every morning in the first scenes of the book/mini-series "Lonesome Dove."

    If you really want to go old time authentic cowhand, pour your wet ingredients in to the flour sack and mix it inside. You can feel when it's ready. Then bury your bean pot in the campfire coals, return at night and you've gone back in time 130 years. Gianni
