    Back in the 60ties, I saw one in 22 cal. It was a miniature flintlock copy of a long rifle. Very accurate.

    A black powder gunsmith I know likes 28 cal. He uses buckshot as a ball. Cheap to shoot and you dont have to make the balls.

    Smallest I have personally seen and shot was a 32. I one time saw a single cavity round ball mold in 6mm, but never saw the rifle to go with it.
