Nice one Kenny. You don't see high cheek pieces like that, truly a custom touch. Nice perch belly on the butt as well.

    Regards,
    Bill

Thanks Pat. I deleted my two post because I thought the pictures I took looked bad bad. I will surely never be a photographer. Anyway here they are again.

That rifle is a real beaut, Duke!

Have you built the wooden case for it yet?

    Turbo,

is that the new Soule "Wasserburger" model? On my way back to Idaho from Quigley this year I stopped and bought the LR model and a Hadley Magnum eyecup for my 45-90. This year was a real expensive trip.
I bought two CZ rifles in 404 Jeffery and 505 Gibbs on the way. then a three barrel set CPA (22lr, 40-65 and 45-70) and then stopped in Belgrade at MVA on the way home. They always see me coming.
Last year I slid thru with only a 45-70 Axtell M1877 heavy Sporter.

Is there anything as lovely to behold as a fine single shot rifle wrapped in figured walnut?

Awesome looking rifles, and you have the perfect backdrop for owning them.

I know this thread is under BP Cartridge - but a Shiloh is still a Shiloh, right?? Here's my 1863 carbine. Just a couple of pics to highlight the gorgeous case coloring and wood to metal fit and finish.. Shiloh does a superb job.

Yeah, Suzy Bradley is one talented engraver. She does all the fine engraving for Shiloh.
