    Made a good deal today.

    I was at the local tire shop today. Time to rotate and I had a tire going down every two or three days. Got all that fixed. I ask the owner if he would sell me his used wheel weights. He said the salvage yard paid 12 cents a pound and he had to take them in. I told him I would pay .12 and come and get them. I feel guilty but a deal is a deal.
    I know the salvage yard he was talking about. I tried to buy from them but they wanted $1.00 a pound for unsorted ww's.
    Going now to buy a lottery ticket !

    Nice score the cheapest I have found them around here is .45 a pound .

    Why would you feel guilty? The dang scrap yard guys are generally unfriendly and pay little, but they want 8X times their money to sell to you?
    I'd make a permanent deal with that shop owner...why not?
