    Plastic coated weights=lead???

In my never ending pursuit to supply myself with metal to feed my addiction I am always looking for an over looked source for lead. I was wondering if anyone has peeled the plastic off the older "coated" weight lifting sets and found that the "weights" are lead?? I see these at yard sales cheap and was thinking maybe an over looked source. Anyone know

The ones that I've seen are usually filled with concrete.
