The SOWW will go to balance out the 160# of ingots I already have. (Pb 94.1% and Sb 5.9%) With those ingots and 160# pure Pb plus 2% tin, I end up with a BHN 11 bullet material....................just how I like it. With my bullet trap I can just keep recycling the material.

I'm jealous! I can't shoot in my back yard.......

See, I may be able to obtain Pewter easier than you, but I willingly give it to other people....

I must admit I'm very fortunate, PBaholic. Not many can step out their back door onto a 100 yd range. It's been a real blessing. Now if I could just double my lead stash, I'd be fixed for as long as I'm alive..........or until Killary's Storm Troopers kick down my door and take everything.

I'm certainly jealous of a range that close. Some day.....

Not really...it's just a 100 yard walk down to the lead mine!

Nice thing about my lead mine is all I have to do is scoop the lead out of the tires after it hits that 1/2" thick AR500 plate. Nothin' but small shards.........that really melt fast. Don't even have to bend over and dig like from a backstop.

Chris C...if he stops by to meet and greet you...better 'pat him down', make sure he isn't carrying a concealed scoop! ...

"Uh..Oh!...Open mouth, remove left foot, replace with right!"

You still need to pat him a bit...only on the back with a big smile!

Well now don't just give it away....oklahoma is awful small compared to Texas I think we should descend upon this range in force. We could use that up between a few of us.

triggerhappy243, normally I'd just say "stop by any time" but my schedule is kind of hectic right now. Got out of town friends coming for a week.........arriving Friday. Then family from out of town arrive on the 24th for a week. Then I have to go to Missouri for a week to clean up my late father-in-laws place after his death. Busy Summer.

I shoot a lot of 22 & 38 WC in basement, I have 2'x2' pieces of heavy conveyor belt hanging
free from top of 1/8" plate box. 8 pieces 4" apart. Bullets drop into sand in bottom of box. max
penetration is about 3 pieces. Have to rotate 1st piece, hole gets chewed out shooting bulls eye,
with 38wc, 22s almost self seal.
