    How do you store your squash over winter? Iíve never have had good luck doing it. Some people have suggested harvesting it earlier, before itís 100% ripe.

    I just put them in my 50 degree pantry that by then has around 40% humidity(gets dryer as winter drags on). They last 3+ months. I keep them in a screened in shelf otherwise mice will chew on them and that can cause spoilage. They will eventually turn all orange and about then start to mold inside around the seeds...
