    Made a good trade

A friend showed me a garage sale find, a Lyman Mould master XX pot with a Weston thermometer sticking out of about 15 lbs. lead. No cord. He asked what it was worth and I replied "I'll trade you that $25 worth of lockwork you owe me". He quickly accepted and I loaded it before he changed his mind. It looks to be in great shape. I will probably hardwire a cord and give it a try.

Nice Score! You will need some type of high temp wire for it.

    Awesome trade
I did kinda the same thing last summer. had a friend wanting my metal lathe.

Found him one he couldn't afford it so I bought it.
Let him make payments on it. needed to cut up a parts car he offered his yard and help.
So I wrote the balance of the metal lathe off for use of his man power and yard.

It's really wonderful when friends can trade things out for help or work they need.
It eliminates the money factor and if it's fair it builds a stronger friendship.

Glad that worked out for you.

That reminded me... I got a car for my wife before she became my ex.

    Best trade I ever made.
