Disco .177

Well the Discovery in .177 came in, I picked it up around noon today.

Cleaned the barrel, fishing line with a loop of tee shirt soaked in mineral oil. That's what I've used for air guns for years now, works for me.

Took 75 pumps to reach 2,000 PSI, not that hard at all, even for a 72 year old fart.

Mounted a scope on it, and ready to go, other than it really sh!tty outside now. May be tomorrow, we shall see.

When I had my 22 disco it shot really good at about 1600 to 1100 or so when I turned it down or less velocity. I can't quite remember but I leave believe I got about 30 shots before I had to pump again. But I had a lighter spring and was not shooting them very fast.

2000 psi in the Disco is not too bad, but 3000 psi in the Hatsan takes more effort for about the same number of pump strokes to top it off.

will the weather ever get nice here in No. Indiana? Had a good day on Sunday, but hey, that was Mothers Day, did get to take it out for a few shots, but man I want to give it a workout ASAP.
