I bought a “modified” 50th Anniversary Ruger 10/22.
A guy basically built a bull barrel target rifle with a McMillan stock, from a pretty much plain Jane rifle.
Question?…any idea how much a new receiver would cost to basically rebuild another rifle from the left over parts?

Brownell's sells the receivers for around $150 or so - too lazy to look it up.

Took me awhile to find this one. 1895 Winchester in 30-06. Takedown model with case colored hardened receiver. Basically new in box. Owned the same model before but in a period of absolute stupidity sold it. This one will stay with me until I go to the great beyond.
Plan on mounting a receiver sight to it and using it for whitetails and maybe a moose in the future.
