Slightly used Pedersoli Mortimer .451 muzzleloader. Already have molds and sizer so obviously need another fast twist muzzleloader.

Henry Big Boy X in .45 Colt. Pretty much the perfect camp carbine for my environment.

I hear those are addictive. I've so far been able to resist the urge, but it gets strong at times.

Let's see, I have copies of: Patterson (the only Navy caliber) a Rogers and Spencer, a Le Matt, and most recently an 1860 Army. Yeah, addictive.

BP revolvers, 2 1860 Army's, a '51 Navy and a '49 Baby Dragoon. Other BP handguns, a Lyman Great Plains Pistol and a couple flint lock pistols. Yeah, they are fun!

My birthday is coming up and Monday evening my wife asked what I wanted. Usually, if we want something we just get it. Well, this birthday is just a tiny bit different. I'd been wanting a S&W Schofield in 44-40 to go with my '73 Win. in the same cartridge ever since I bought the rifle a couple years ago. I wasn't real serious about it or I would have one already. When Momma asked the question, I blurted it out without a second thought. It should be here MAYBE the end of this week. If not, certainly the first of next week. It's rather paradoxical. Ordinarily I am LOATHE to own a reproduction in anything other than the original chambering. This is the only exception I've ever made, simply because I wanted the revolver to match the rifle.

Do Encore barrels count? If so... I last added a 20” T/C .45-70 Katahdin and a 16.25” MGM chambered for 45 ACP.

Ruger #1S in 338 Win. Mag., the LGS had it listed at $750.00 but the owner took $500.00 for it.

H&R 1871 Handi in 500 S&W that sat on the LGS shelf for years. The thing is, I don't shoot 500 S&W, but my neighbor does His revolver is a beast. I just need to drag him down to the LGS to have him fill out the paperwork in time for his birthday. I bought it when I was still in CA and he is in CO. I picked it up for $300, no telling what they would go for now that they aren't made anymore. I also picked up a Handi in .223, the H Bar 24" (love it) and realized they still had the 500 on the shelf, bought them both, so yes, the 500 was the last.

We have cast and loaded for his revolver so loading for this is a given. A bunch of years ago, I picked up a Classic Carbine in 45 Colt, $225, couldn't pass it up. He was able to score a Ruger OM Vaquero in 45 Colt to go with my rifle. Time to return the favor!

I walked into the LGS yesterday, and tripped over a Ruger PC-9, and I couldn't resist it so..... You guessed it I bought it. So I will be at the local range as soon as all this snow melts, I can't wait.

Went into the LGS to get a couple scopes mounted yesterday. Walked out with a laminate stock Ruger Charger. Just ever so slightly used condition and just traded in that morning.

I have been done buying firearms for a while but the last one was this 1952 Marlin 336 SC in 35 Rem I found in a country store in N VT. The waffle top had been machined off and D&T'd for the scope mount so collector value was gone but price was right and I got it as a shooter. Came with an old Weaver 3X post scope that was damaged and didn't add anything to the price and I found an exact replacement in the original box although it cost almost as much as the rifle. The store owner said it belonged to an 80 something yr old from MA that hunted with it for over 30 yrs in VT and now it's keeping to that same pattern of home and point of use.
