I was helping a friend unload and set up his booth at our Trappers and Callers Convention when this one came out of the van. I got a hold of it and didn't put it down until the rest of the guns were unloaded. He had a beautiful Win. 1894 in 38-55 and an early Win. 94 in .30 WCF. Those were out of my price range but this was not- Savage 170 Carbine .30-30 made in 1976. If it had been in 35 Remington I would have made the jump and added another rifle caliber to my reloading but I already have 3 - .30-30s. Added an old scope and a sling and I think I may take it on opening day this year. Shoots pretty nice considering the loads were developed for other rifles.

AWinchester 1886 in 38-56 made in 1890 but it needs a buttstock as the original one is broken at the wrist.

Just picked up a Begara B14 Hunter in woodland camo. 22" 1/10 barre.l Got some Talley integral med. rings coming for it and an on hand like new Leupold 3.5 - 10 VX 3 optic that is about 10 years old. Bought it at my LGS because they are friends for 30 years or so. Would have got a Tikka but they did not have one in .308. and saw no big advantage in switching to another caliber that I did not have the hardware for. Going to do the barrel break in because it has turned out well in the past. Should also help when I start shooting cast with it. Rifle is average weight at a bit over 7 lbs. Probably do mostly still hunting and plinking with it. Will report back in the Factory Rifles section once I get some rounds through it.

After a lesson on either over pressure or squib in barrel I had to replace my Springfield XDM with a new Springfield Echelon 9mm. Click image for larger version.

Found a NIB unfired stainless S&W Governor at the Wickenburg gun show Saturday for just $800. It was an estate sale situation where the old fella was unfortunately afflicted with the onset of dementia and his buddies were disposing his guns on his behalf to hand over the funds to his wife who is his caretaker now. The original receipt from 2014 was still in the box, along with 10 full moon clips for .45acp! I've been thinking about one of these for a long time.

    Brazilian-Beretta 92.
Taurus PT 99 with the heal magazine release. From the local auction house, $244 with the buyers premium. Came with 4 magazines everything looks like new. Couldn't pass it up at that price .

Remington 11, model number points to 1908-9, pretty nicely engraved for a Rem11.
Anyone here with information on Rem 11's it would be great to know more.
I collect Browning Auto 5's and just recently started looking at their Brother in Arms the Rem11...

I guess it was a Glock model 23 if you count that as a gun. I hardly do as these black pistols excite me about as much as buying a box of nails but I do trust it to do its job if ever needed so it's a necessary expense.

Remington model 11 was my first auto loader back in 1980. Killed lots of ducks with it too. This was before steel shot was required and I loaded my own #4 shells. Had a permanent black and blue yellow shoulder the entire season. My 1100 took over the duck steel shot duties of the eighties and my shoulder was very appreciative. Lol.

I picked up a Taurus G3c at the local gun store for $ 225, used with the original box and three magazines. No name, but found the original receipt in the bottom of the box. Bigger than my pocket gun, smaller than my full sized CZ, and it has a really nice trigger, I like it. Probably the best "cheap" gun I've ever bought.
