I grabbed this Rossi by Taurus the other day at the LGS and it's a solid little thing. All steel, not an ultralight at all.

Ruger Stainless SR1911 .45 acp . Immediately installed Novak green tritium/ white dot front and rear sights, and Hogue black rubber over-molded grips, with hidden green laser.

Bought a 10/22 with a bull barrel, cobbled together. Just wanted the scope. So two rows over, at the show, sold the 10/22 to another dealer. Kept the scope for cast bullets. Scope is a Gilmore Red Leader, original, 2 MOA, before Leupold.

A Tanfoglio Stock III P, in .38 Super. It's basically a slightly larger Witness, built on a polymer frame. It's my first pistol chambered for .38 Super, so this should be an interesting experience.

Wish I could post pics, I just scored a REALLY nice 1974 made pre warning, pre crossbolt safety in 45-70. Absolutely stunning, still waiting for one of Rugers new 1895 SBL rifles from one of four LGS’s who’ve been trying to get me one, won’t pay Gunbroker prices….

    I couldn't resist a Mossberg Maverick m88 Youth 20gauge pump.
It's short and light, holds five in the magazine, and fits in my kayak perfectly.

I bought an 1893(or 1916) Spanish Mauser action for $100. The rest of the rifle comes with it....it's a 7x57mm. I'll go get it Friday!

Update- it's "sportered" with black enamel just like the one I bought in 1973 from White's Auto. Like a misty memory....

Picked up a new Ruger/Marlin 45-70 trapper at a lgs. Just hit the shelf and I was lucky enough to be there.

Last week, a Ruger M77 Hawkeye, I guess it's a ''Hunter'' model in .338 Winchester Magnum. Stainless with a green laminated stock and Nikon BuckmasterII 4-12 scope, (the photo shows tan, but it's green).

Pocked up a single shot .410 Yildez brand new at Academy Longview TX for 149.00 out the door. Amazing fold up model. Light as a feather.

Amazing value on those guns. I have the 12 gauge and the .410. If they would make it in 20 gauge, they would sell a bunch!

Bought a pair of those Christmas before last, one for me and another I gave to the SIL for the grandsons.
