    yes you can.
and a leverage breech seater as well.
attachments to the action, and an appropriate tool will allow this.

Don't have a camming tool either. I could go the breech seating route, but think I'll save that for another day. Gonna look around for someone who sells pp bullets of the proper size. I have papers that will increase the diameter by 0.0055, 0.0165, 0.019, and 0.025 when wet wrapped twice. Roger on a smooth inner lip. I do a slight camfer.
Yes I am. If you are compressing your powder and don't have a big wad stack, the only thing it changes is pressing the paper you folded at the base of the bullet a little tighter. which may be a good thing. I could pm you the results of a few matches shooting it this way. It does work.

    rfd,
sory no I do not have pictures.
I have seen them in the flesh.
the best place to look might be the assra forum.
more breech seating there than anywhere.
the tools are similar in principle for breech seating and cartridge pushing.
    keep safe,
    bruce.

bruce, i figured there'd be some form of roller seater - if there's a need for something, it'll get created one way or t'other. thanx, rob.

My load has a veggie wad on the compressed powder charge, then a (dry) 1/8th felt wad under the bullet.
The felt is F1 'hard' felt, but it still has a little bit of give.

The bullet is seated to contact the lands, and it takes a firm thumb to compress the felt enough to close the breech.

I think this method provides for a well-aligned bullet sitting firmly in the leade, and a properly positioned case with it's head solid against the breechface ... and all without the need for an extra tool to load the gun.

Whether it's worth trying or not is up to you, but it's a thought.
Retired...TWICE. Now just raisin' cows and livin' on borrowed time.
