    Lee FCD question

I bought a factory crimp die for my 35rem., but, if I flare the cases to seat cast the die won't set a crimp.
Have one for the 30-30 that works fine.
I assume the flared case mouth won't enter the collet, so what is the best way to deal with it?

Use the full size die, that die goes afterward.
I used the full size die, and crimped the neck on my .35 Rem.

Adjust the boolit seater die to take some of the flare out. That should allow the loaded round to go into the collet crimping die.
Happiness is a couple of 38's and a bucket of ammo.

I have one of the Lee Collet dies that will not work unless I put the case on top of the shell holder. The bullets would fall out of the loaded case after using it in the directed fashion.
You might also contact Lee. They have great customer service. They offered to exchange the die, but I am content to use it the way I found works.

All the brass needs is just a tiny smidgen of flare...teensey.
