    Unique if I could only have one, If I could have one for rifles and one for handguns I'd pick HS6 and Varget. I use those 2 for every cartridge I currently load.

    They don't make one powder that will work with near max loads in 300H&H and 38 spl. Two would work such as red dot and 5010 by using duplex loads. I have enough powder from fast to slow that I don't think I will ever have to buy any more so the one powder thing is not an issue to me.

    Back when I thought a President Dukakis was a possibility I bought a (what I thought was) lifetime supply of Unique powder by Hercules. I still have over 4 pounds left so it probably is.

    OT, but have you ever used Fed 209A's? I understand the recommend them with their BH 209.
