I bought two of the 6 cavity Lee sprue plates from Rick. I was having trouble with the Lee aluminum sprue plates that warped leaving some flashing on the boolit bases. Lee replaced one sprue plate under warranty but they also blamed me in an email before I sent the molds then told me they never accused me of that when they sent the mold back to me with a new aluminum sprue plate. Anyhow, I received the sprue plates from Rick today and ran about 700 boolits to test it out and all of them were great! After using them I'm not too concerned these ones will warp as they are much stiffer than the originals and I'm not getting any lead sticking near the sprue holes like the original did.

I have purchased Rick's sprue plates, sprue cutter handle and handles for the lee six cavity moulds and they are great. If you add Rick's steel sprue plate and new sprue cutter handle to Lee's excellent six cavity mould you now have a super 6 cavity mould for around $90cn. or around 65 US$. I also purchased his replacement sprue plate for Lyman's 2 cavity mould. It is thicker than the original and will have less of a tendency to warp. I plan on replacing all of my Lyman sprue plates with Rick's as well as all my older RCBS moulds with the thinner plate. His handles are also great for the lee moulds.

I did some trading with Rick, and I must say, he is an absolute pleasure to do business with. I'm switching out all my Lee 6 cavity aluminum sprue plates with the ones from Rick, and instead of feeling like 40 dollar molds, my Lee molds now feel like 150 dollar molds. Fit and finish is just perfect, the same goes for the handles. I'm looking forward to my next transaction with Rick.
