    Onionskin.....minimum 25% rag content, 9#.....002" thick after it dries. Doesn't hardly get any better.


    Dress pattern paper is a winner, usually at .0015".


    I realize most of you are doing a segway from cast bullet shooting. Put that knowledge on the back burner, mebbe read Matthews' book and follow his guidance. Proper geometry and materials will give you precision and velocity equivalent to jacketed bullets.

    nother thing to ask is "what is the clay content in that paper". this is an ingredient that nobody wants to be shooting down their barrel unless the barrel is very rough and a smoothing effect is desired.

    none of my barrels so far require this kinda treatment ... especially on an ongoing basis ... maybe shoot 10 to 50 thru one to smooth it out but then a very detailed cleaning is required to stabilize the barrel for onion skin high rag content paper.
