    S&B LRM PRIMERS $14.50 / 1k

The last thing I need is more primers, but couldn't pass up this offer. Wideners has them at $72.50 / 5k, that's 14.50 per k. At that price I'm not gonna pass them up.

Let us know how they shoot. I have never used S&B primers.
I was a dog on a short chain.
    Now there's no chain.

Hmmm... I wonder how well they would work in .45ACP...

I like and use a lot of the S&B Large rifle primer. After 5k or more used, NOT ONE MISS FIRE. Use them if you can get them. They work just fine.

I've used about 3k of the LR S&B without any issue. They do seem to be just a little hotter than cci, so the mag will probably much hotter. Might be just the thing for the wc860 and the Hakim.

Navyvet, wouldn't they protrude out in the 45acp?

I suspect it would depend upon the particular primers and your particular brass. There's enough range in tolerances of each that it could definitely work in a lot of cases.

my only problem with wideners is they require an adult signature for delivery, and they only deliver when I'm at work (not at home).

If you use ups, you can give them a pre authorized signature. I think you can even go online with them and sign, but you take responsibility if it gets stolen.
