    I thought it WAS a wall decoration! I would much rather have that than most "art" I see
    On topic, I have lots of osage around, picking thorns from my arm a few minutes ago from hunting this morning! I love the stuff for knife and tool handles. It also makes an awesome bow! It will darken to a dark red brown with age, but then I like that too! Good stuff all around as long as you respect it's tendancy to prefer to bend than compress.

    If you can find bodark fence posts, the section that was underground will be a beautiful green, much prized by duck call makers

    i have several Chick Majors Dixie Mallard calls built from it
