FYI 358 Winchester for AR-10 Platform.

FYI KAK Industry has a 12.5" .358 Winchester barrel http://www.kakindustry.com/kak-358-s...ainless-barrel but I was informed today that they will have a 16" available in the next few weeks.

Finally, an easy to get .358 barrel. When the 16" gets here, I'll have one.

$250 for the pistol length barrel. Says they use a Green Mountain blank. Should be pretty good.
I was a dog on a short chain.
    Now there's no chain.

The 12.5" they currently have in stock has a 1-12 twist. So from what little I know it would probably be for a sub sonic application especially with the 290Gr 358009.

And if you look about half way down the page here they also have a good deal with contract over runs also with Green Mountain blanks for $100.00-$110.00 in 5.56 and 300 BLK http://www.kakindustry.com/ar-15-par...-parts/barrels Just in case anyone is interested.

Just an update. KAK have a 16" 358 Winchester barrel in a 1-12 twist and they use Green Mountain barrel blanks for the AR-10 Platform in stock. http://www.kakindustry.com/kak-358-s...ainless-barrel

I just had mine rebored and left it at 18".

I do not yet subscribe to the theory that shortening the barrel increases both velocity and accuracy.
