    Well FWIW, found a barrel I just had to get. A 24" heavy bull DPMS SS 1 in 10. So, obviously going with a match build but this brl is heavy so may just flute the heck out of it. Also, getting around to getting the Choate M1A telescoping pistol grip stock.

    xaces is that the genII upper & bolt? Tygar - mine is the 24" fluted SS and it works great, just weighs 13# so not a field gun.
