    7/8 slugs for hunting

    as a kid in Millport ala my first shotgun was a win model 37 steelbelt in 16 ga still have her used her for small game and deer hunting i have seen people say 7/8 is to lite for deer now i have taken deer out to 50 yards with the 16 an 7/8 oz slug most were boom flop most never going more than 50 yards so how come now its to lite for hunting

    It's not, technology has changed and I feel people look at distance with modern slug guns rather than what multi purpose shot guns were used for. His many people now adays know what a "cut slug is"
