    Hornady Warranty

Hey, Ive got 5 shell plates at Hornady to be modified. They called today and charged me $50. Return shipping was on them. How do you beat that? When you talk about no BS warranties, I think this is what that means

I so agree that they have the best customer service. I had a problem with a few LNL bushings loosening and popping out. I gave them a call (with low expectations) and it couldn't have gone better. They are sending a new bushing for the press and replacing the die bushings that got damaged from the issue. Super awesome customer service and now I have more reason to keep supporting Hornady!!

Good to know! I'll be more inclined to add some "red" to my bench.

Lately I have been buying Hornady dies to replace Dillon dies that sized too tight, for my 550.

Hornady's are my go to dies. I'll buy them when available. The free box of 100 bullets is just icing on the cake. And yes, their warranty and service are very good.

You know, I started out with Lee more than 39 years ago. Within 3 years I moved to RCBS and was a diehard RCBS guy until 1999 when I bought my first Hornady press, a Projector. Now two L-N-Ls later I still use RCBS material. They make things no one else does. I also use Lyman stuff but it's not my go to because their customer service is almost non-existent. I love my Redding T7 for BPCR and my Redding factory crimp dies but in the end, Hornady now makes up the bulk of my equipment. I have one Dillon 550 press remaining and I still use Lee dies and moulds but the boys from Nebraska have the Lion's share of my business these days.Still, I also use Bonanza, Forrester Harrel, Lochmiller, Belding and Mull and anything else that works. Most of my bullet seating is done on Lyman PA dies. So, I'm a reloading ****, loyal to no one but with a predilection to Hornady.

BTW, the Shell Plates were received on Monday and shipped out to me yesterday. That's what, 48 hours turn around

Had to pay for replacement parts for my Projector (worn). No big deal, but other companies have sent free replacements for parts I lost.

Hornady completely rebuilt a Projector press for me several years ago that had gotten loose after about 350,000 rounds through it at no charge. I gave it to a friend when I bought a new LnL press at the same time.

Hornady has been good, as has RCBS. I don't own a lot of Dillon equipment, but they did repair a 1200 case trimmer for me about 22 years ago. I also own equipment from most of the manufacturers, and some that have fallen by the wayside, such as Hollywood, Belding & Mull and Tri-Standard. I use what works best for my applications, not what the label is on the box.

    Hope this helps.

They did me right on a PTX Expander fiasco. Good folks to deal with.
