    need sprue plate tracing

    I have an Ideal tool like the one pictured but am missing the sprue plate, I figure I can make one if I could get a tracing from someone, pm me if you can help

    Corvette, Floodgate beat me to the punch....but you can also do a "reverse" tracing by putting a piece of paper over the closed mould and rubbing a pencil over the top of it to transfer the hole locations and the size of the block. Then just wing it as to sprue and knock off tang. I did one like that and it turned out nicely....'til I chamfered the wrong side of the thing for the pour hole. Emery
