Jeff they can and will enforce the lead ban. All waterfowl is shot with approved non-toxic shot. Some people still hunt with lead. If they get caught it gets expensive. Non-toxic (copper)bullets will gradually become available in most calibers and then the State will vigorously enforce the law. Enforcement may include confiscation of the firearm firing lead boolits. Copper boolits now cost $1.00-$1.50 each now. Non-toxic 22WRM cost about $14.00 for a box of 50 when you can find them. I don't believe I have ever seen non-toxic 22LR.

It is the demonization of lead that you are witnessing. When ever the libtards can't control something, they demonize it. With enough fear mongering soon you will need a special license giving you the permission to possess lead in any form and will be told how much you can possess at one time. If they can't take the guns they will go after the ammo and if they can't control how much ammo you can make at home????
