    K-31 Scope Mount

Who make a scope mount without drilling and taping for a K-31. And what is the cost of one. I have 3 of them i thought to scope one. I would like to mount a 3-9 40 scope on it.

St. Marie makes a clamp-on mount that gets good reviews, though I have no experience with it.

I have a scout mount made by S&K that I mounted a Leupold 4x pistol scope in on my K31. To date it has accounted for 15 deer, all but two one-shot kills, at everything from 5 yards out to 325. I like that mount, simple, rugged, and stays put. Plus, I can simply undo the screws, put the rear sight back in place, and it's back to original with no holes and no clamp marks.

I've got the St Marie no drill scope mount. It works great, I've had it on one of my K31's for years. You can still use the original sights with it installed. I have no complaints about it at all. It's easy to install and mine has been rock solid.

I have not tried it yet. But since you have recommended it here, I am inspired to try at this one.

Unless they've improved, avoid the Accu-mount which can be found on ebay, or their own website. I had to put windage adjustable rings on mine. I could barely get on target at 100yds with the adjustment of my scope cranked about as far as it would go in one direction.

Another +1 for the St. Marie mount! Bought mine used, it's the aluminum mount, works great. But if I were to buy a new one, I'd probably get the steel mount. I just like steel better. But had no problems with the AL mount.

Thanks for all the reply my choice of the reading i did on scope mounts for the K-31. The best one for me is the St. Marie. I think a K-31 would make a poor man long range target rifle. Every one that i know that owns a K-31 the first thing they say is how accurate they are. Never i have i hear a bad comment on Swiss rifles

I also have the St. Marie. The only problem I had was that they have a "Non-standard" dovetail that take some special rings. I milled the dovetail off, and drilled and tapped it for a Weaver base. Now I can swap my only good target scope between guns and not remove the rings.

ID:	134347The Swiss products clamp on mount is a great piece of kit, I have had one on my K31 for some time and it has never worked loose.
I can still use the iron sights out to 700m.

Another vote for the St. Marie, now Swiss Products, I believe.

    Great, stable mount.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.

One more vote for the Swiss Products clamp-on mount. It sits maybe 3/4" to the right of the bore centerline but it isn't a problem.
