    Take your guess. WINNER

Thanks to everyone who took the time to enter this little contest. Quite a range of guesses and the one who came closest was (if I didn't miss somebody) Plates5. There were 2,579 boolits in the jug and his guess was 2,538 missed it by 41 boolits. New guy is the winner, welcome to Cast Boolits and send me a PM with your address and I will get your card out the first of the week. And again thanks to all 82 posters. See ya at the fair.

At our county fair the farm Co-Op's will have a booth and at that booth will generally be a big see through container full of Navy beans or kernels of corn or kernels of wheat, etc. The object is to guess how many beans or kernels are in the container. Jot down your name and phone number with your guess and at the end of the week the winner or one closest wins a prize, hat, wrench or whatever. One answer per member. I just got done casting from my Lee group buy mould this jug of the clone Lyman 358101 74 +/- gr. Wad Cutters.

Here there is not a prize other than perhaps an "atta boy or girl" "good job". If you would like to hazard a guess I will release the number next Saturday.

I did not count each boolit, I weighed the batch on a balance beam scale and divided it by the average weight of 30 boolits. The only hint I can give is the jug once held Koegels Pickled Bologna 40 oz. 2.5 lbs.. What the heck along with "atta boy or girl" "good job" I'll send the winner a $5.00 McDonalds gift card. One winner first with the exact or closest number wins.

Are my kids/grandkids more important than "o"'s kids, to me they are, darn tooting they are!!! They deserve the same armed protection afforded "o"'s kids.
