    My dad bought one of those half mag 30-30 Marlins around 1950 - it's a "waffle top" in close to mint shape. The toe of the plastic butt plate broke off a few years ago but the rest of it looks factory. I've killed a few deer with it over the years.

    You did a very nice job on that one - hope your bro takes care of it.
