Haven't seen that one in particular but I'm interested in the MVP line.

I've been wanting an MVP for a while. If I ever see one in person I'll probably snatch it up.

    It's nice but I'd like a 300 blackout version

A flush 4 round mag would be nice for extended carry in brush and long hauls. The smaller mags stick out and are right where I want to place my hand for balanced carry.
Yes, you can tell me to shut my mouth and quit whining, because that's what they make slings for and this is one very nice rifle.

No I agree with you Randy, that is IMO one of the things Ruger got right with its 10/22 was a flush fitting magazine.

Ideally you should have a choice, fewer rounds, but flush, more rounds and put up with the hassle of a magazine that protrudes.

That lets you adjust for what you do.

Personally I have not had a Mossberg since the bolt action .410 shotgun that I bought 3rd hand ohhhhh so many years ago. (Back in 1970)
It is still with me, still looks good and functions well. And because I didn't know any better it doesn't get used much because it is a .410 not a 20 gauge.

This has to be a misprint.

Yes to 300 BO/whisper and flush fit mags. I'd imagine a mag could be done with some work. With the forward scout scope and flush mag I think this would be a good yet large grasp, that's how I carry my scout 30-30 but I also hunt with a sling

I am not an m1a shooter but it turns out there are five round flush fit mags available so no need to cut one down and make one. Post #1, 3rd pic

Fourth one down below! That Lipsey's add surely is a misprint

Answering my above Q, those are quick release scope bases. Also I purchasedone of these rifles and returned it and sold off my M1A magazines. There were issues with the bolt. Mossberg CS
refunded my money. It was a nice rifle and concept, when they work the kinks out I may buy another one as a truck gun.

interesting. If they make it available in .35 remington or .358 win I might bite.
