    1st Sgt. Larry o. Lane

1st Sgt. Larry O. Lane was my very first 1st Sgt. when I got to Fort Bragg he was a hell of a man fair, tough and unassuming. He had a very big impacted on a lot of young paratroopers coming up through the ranks. The Airborne community lost a good one. Check out this like to a video his family posted about his life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Spzv...&feature=share

R.I.P. 1SG Lane. I did not know you but yet I did. We both served in the US Army, the 173rd in Viet Nam and then had long distinguished careers training soldiers and serving our country. Airborne!
