    Anyone recognize this mold?

This was commercially produced by BSL Bullets. They went out of business last year.

    .358 dia

    180 gr.

I don't think it's Magnus, which most commercial casters use. Anyone recognize the mold?

    The MiHec C358-180-RF.

I got a two holer in this one, but I'd do a backflip if you could get another GB started on a re-run!

edit: just picked up one in S&S.

Looks good for a 357 rifle
Hmmm beagle 334 way don't you start a GB on this one? I'd jump into it myself
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

It's definitely a MiHec. I remember that Buddy (of BSL) and me bought one at the same time as overruns on that GB. Mine came with large and small HP pins and he got the solid version.
I would do it, SSG, but I've never done a MP GB. I wonder if Firestick would be up for honcho'ing another run.

I do know that MiHec did a 165gr version of this one too, and Miha still does have many overrun molds available for the 165gr version, but I'm partial to the 180.

It won't feed in a Marlin. That mold just sits in the box since I first used it.

Have NOE do a run of them. If you can get 15 people to commit, it can be done in a couple months instead of a couple of years like Mihec takes.

Dang near looks like a 429-310 Lee with the gas check shank removed even though it's a .358. I'm thinking about removing the shank on my 44 cal because of loose gas checks

Loaded in my .38 to the crimp groove yields a cartridge too long to seat. Have to seat it closer to the ogive.

NOE already does this one. They did a GB before MiHec did.

But the NOE version has square lube grooves.

That is a crying shame! I have been looking for a Lyman mould, bout out of bullets that I found somewhere years ago. It is a 225 grain short nosed SWC that will feed in the Marlin if you use the crimp groove. I love the bullet.

Should I see what the interest is again? Miha may have extras. Send him a PM.

Those bullets sure are pretty. I need more time to cast, load and shoot.
