    sizing info needed

heres the problem have a marlin 336 in 30-30. Haad bbl slugged and it was a hair over 308.Was going to order vast bullets sized at 310 but now since finding out about powder coated bullets I'm now confused on what size to order the cast bullets.I understand that PC the bullets adds to the dia.So if I order a 309 cast and PC it will id mic out at 311.Just need answer to which cast bullet to uce in a micro groove marlin with a 308 bore.

So are you buying some commercial cast bullets and then you plan to, yourself, powder coat them? If so then you will also need to size them back down after powder coating to the diameter you want/need.

As to the size of boolit you need for your firearm, the common is .001 to .002 over groove diameter or to fill the throat.

Yes powder coating will add size or diameter to the boolit.

Min takes 311. I'd get the 310 and 309,310,311 sizers as you can't make the sizer smaller.
    Whatever!

I'd order a couple of different sizes, PC them and then size...you can get the Lee push thru sisters for $20 each or less.

Try missouribullet.com, they're not PC but Hi-Tek coated instead. Several offerings in 30 cal and the prices are pretty good.
