Loaded a batch of 450/400 N.E. yesterday, need to set up the 16 gauge MEC 650 today. The Model 12 should be about done with the reblue/retime job. Hope to pick it up this week or next. Need skeet and sporting clays loads.

Loaded up a ladder of 45 ACP with AA#2 with my MP 452-200 boolits.
Those guys are about the size of a 230 grain boolit but with the Penta HP they come out to 210 grain when using a 1:25 alloy.
I've got a few lbs of AA#2 and it should be pretty economical to shoot.

Set up new Lee dies in 44 mag, new caliber for me. Loaded 10 dummy rounds, then remove the pills. I will add primers & powder tomorrow.

I "unassembled" forty-five 9mm pieces of ammo. They failed the plunk test.

    Me too.
I pulled down 85 .380 shells that came with estate stuff. Most will plunk but they are under loaded pressure wise (won’t cycle the LCP).
I’ll reuse the primers and bullets but not the SR 4756 powder that’s in them.

I cast about 16 or 17 lbs of Lee 452-228-1R bullets and then ran them through the RCBS Lubrisizer. Next session I'll put them in a batch of primed and flared brass already sitting on the bench. I'm working to get a couple thousand 45 ACP loaded for practice shooting.

The atmosphere at the loading bench was perfect tonight by the way. Cool breeze blowing outside and the bull frogs in the pond 100 feet from my garage door were singing me a symphony. Retired with no job to force me to bed early so I can load until midnight - can't get any better than that.

Started prepping some picked up 5.56 NATO brass and the left channel in my workshop stereo was out so I ended up tearing it down it was a broken wire inside the case wear wires connect to speaker wire .

The receiver is pretty old I have it hooked up to listen to FM radio , MP3, 8 track, Cassette tape even turntable but no AM as the L.E.D. lights and the power supply for a night owl security camera system interferes with AM . The 4 foot L.E.D. shop lights also have some FM radio interference 103.1 FM seems to be the worst even with a shielded antenna cable to the outside.
I missed a source above I also have a C.C. Crane internet radio I can play with a FM transmitter to get to workshop or to my headphones.
When I think back on all the **** I learned in high school it's a wonder I can think at all ! And then my lack of education hasn't hurt me none I can read the writing on the wall.

I started reloading the 50 rounds of break-in brass for the 30x39 I will try some 1680 with new 150gr bullets. Those collet pulled bullets did not want to be consistant, either that or the reduced load of H-322 did not do the trick.

Group on paper was about 2" at 25 yards.

With my alloy, 1:25 tin to lead they weigh generally about 210 grain.

Started teaching my oldest grand son (17) how to load ammo for his .243. He was very meticulous. I think he’ll be good at this hobby.

GONRA would run John Guedry's 9mm loads thru a Lee Factory Crimp die.
Bet they'll "plunk" Just Fine? ??

Started setting up a Lyman 45 lubesizer for .357 and .358 sizers. Decided I really need to purge old hard lube out of it first. Job for another day.

More commercially cast .38 Special wadcutters over 3.0gr of Bullseye. I'm going to keep loading these up, and then shooting them up, as long as I keep finding them squirreled away in the gun room. I think I'm close to the end now. Moving forward, I'll either cast my own or maybe use the Xtreme Bullets plated ones.

Deprimed and resized then cleaned 500 9mm cases.
First time using walnut media and they turned out nice after 15 hours in the shaker. I’ve only ever wet tumbled before this time.

I loaded a few with H&G #9 recently and they look cool, but can’t find that mold anywhere.

Cast 250 450/400 boolits and about 350 186 grain .458 collar button boolits from a new NOE 4 cavity mold. They dropped beautifully from the mold.

Time to put the bike up on the lift and figure out what the m/c shop did to my brake rotor when they installed the new rear tire.
