just loaded 50x 308 163gn lgc boolits
Made some .380 brass at the range and also made up a cake cutter for pan-lubing .45-70. I've used the suggestion of a member here to make several: paper patch an unsized bullet extra-thick using a receipt. Flare the case mouth enough to accept the fat paper-patched bullet, seat it, then pull it. This expands the case mouth just several thousandths. A little trial and error and I've got a cake cutter tight enough to clean the driving bands, leaving lube only in the grooves, but not so tight as to shave lead or swage the bullet down.
Also picked up a toaster oven and some miscellaneous pans at the local salvage store, for lube, heat cycling molds, and trying out PC at some point in the future. Running some heat cycles on a new MP HP, PB "227-640 Hornet" mold tonight.
Those are pretty bullets, Tripplebeards!
I loaded some j- words for the 6.8 SPC at a "Brisk" level for testing.
And some experimental Lee 309 230gr with gas checks in the 30-06 just for the halibut.

16/1 pure and pewter alloy always comes out shiny! Kills my to PC them.lol. I normally weigh first and then PC color seperate in 1 grain increments. Got too excited and am tumbling some in a mix of Smoke's traffic purple with black and blue mixed in. Might make some in the brown I used in my sinkers I have mixed up and left over.
I took my mold apart yesterday and cleaned off a little bit of tinning. I put it back together and lubed it up. Ran about 15 pounds of 16/1 alloy through it again today. I hand polished my HP pins with mothers chrome polish. My boolits fell right off the pins when I opened the mold up for the first 2/3’s of my casting session today. Towards the end I had to give the pins a slap with my glove and they would then release and fall off.
Wow. I found some 16:1 in a small pot with some cast bullets sitting on top. Man does that make some amazing looking bullets.
just loaded up some 45-70 with lee 340gn boolits
I enlarged the gas port a bit on my 6.8 AR to cure the short stroking bolt. And loaded some 30-40 Krag/150gr corelokt to use up the last of my 4350.

Pan-lubed 50 MP "227-640 Hornet" 39gr boolits, sized .225, and tumble-lubed along with 50 Lee-Midsouth "Bators" (C225-55-RF: 55 gr, GC) . Lubes were Ben's Red and Ben's Liquid Lube.
I bought an inch pound screwdriver style torque wrench a while ago and today I remounted my 6-24X50 Vortex Sight on my 18" 223 Wylde using a level and Loctite this time. I had it on the 350L and the scope slid all the way to the stops. I put 20 inch pounds on the M4 screws, will see how that does, tomorrow hopefully.
Mal
Mal Paso means Bad Pass, just so you know.
First pc batch with blue went well but today i ruined a 200 rd batch of red. Tried to second coat them and put them into the pwd too hot big mess need to recast the whole mess. Going to try the green tomorrow. can’t do worse.
